BaZi study begins with a symbolic calendar. Interpretation comes later, after the learner understands how its parts relate.
Start With the Calendar
The four pillars encode year, month, day, and hour through stems and branches. Learning their qualities and interactions creates the grammar for later chart work.
From Symbols to Conditional Judgment
A chart should not be reduced to one isolated symbol. Structure, season, strength, and timing are considered together before forming a cautious interpretation.
The system becomes clearer when its vocabulary is learned before its conclusions.
